This explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read rather than to be skipped.
Blossom Marketing Management Ltd is a digital marketing agency working with clients across the UK and beyond. For the information you submit through this website, we are the data controller, which means we decide what is collected and what happens to it.
If you want to ask anything about this policy, or make a request about your own information, use the email address above and put “data request” in the subject line so it reaches the right place quickly.
Only what you type into a form on this site. There is no tracking, no advertising pixel and no analytics on this website, so we do not build a profile of you or follow you around the internet.
Everything beyond a name and an email address is optional. Leaving it blank makes no difference to whether we reply.
To reply to you, and to prepare properly if you have asked for a strategy call. That is the whole purpose.
We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not send marketing you did not ask for, and we do not sell, rent or pass your details to anyone for their own use.
Under UK data protection law we have to have a lawful basis for handling your information. When you send an enquiry we rely on legitimate interests, specifically responding to somebody who has contacted us and asked for a reply. If we go on to work together, we then rely on performance of a contract.
If we ever want to use your details for something else, such as sending you a newsletter, we will ask for your consent first and you will be able to withdraw it at any time.
If you enquire and we do not end up working together, we keep your enquiry for up to twelve months in case you come back to us, then delete it.
If we do work together, we keep records for as long as we are working with you and then for six years afterwards, because tax and accounting rules require it.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics of any kind.
It does store one small item in your browser, which records that you have already been shown the strategy call popup so that it does not appear on every visit. It contains a date and nothing else, it never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Because we do not track anyone, there is no cookie banner on this site. If tracking or analytics are added later, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested before anything is set.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to do any of the following, free of charge.
Contact us using the details at the top of this policy and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to raise it with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant, for example if we start using analytics, we will make that clear rather than quietly amending the wording.
Most people know their marketing could be better but not what to fix first. Thirty minutes with our team and you will.
